I was tapped by Anastasia Salazar, founder of Salazar Studio, as she geared up for the  studio’s 2026 rebrand. While the strategic intent behind a new positioning was taking shape, the studio needed a clear point of view and messaging system to articulate what Salazar stands for and how the studio shows up as a creative partner in the modern health & wellness space.

As Salazar prepared for its next phase of growth, the team wanted language that actually reflected how they work (not just what they offer) to their goal clientele of modern health and wellness brands.

The real challenge wasn’t in defining their services. It was to shape how Salazar can position itself in a crowded creative landscape full of brands using the same safe, familiar language.

One thing was immediately clear: wellness branding has a pattern problem.
Muted palettes. Soft claims. Calm for the sake of calm.

Salazar’s work has never fit that mold. So the question became: how do you articulate that without falling into the same tired conventions?

A new lane for modern wellness.

Identities that are impossible to ignore and effortless to connect with.

Salazar brings it back.

I began by taking the emerging strategic direction and translating it into a clear brand world for Salazar to live in. Through this lens, I explored multiple directions for how the studio could show up tonally, philosophically, and creatively.

The direction that ultimately resonated centered on a simple idea:
a creative studio that turns the intangible into the unforgettable.

Through the process, I uncovered that Salazar’s real strength lives in instinct, emotion, clarity, and perspective — elements clients feel immediately, but often struggle to name. In practice, this meant taking half-formed visions, emotional cues, and founder instinct and shaping them into clear, dimensional brand systems with presence and personality.

From there, the positioning came into focus. Salazar helps brands see more clearly — themselves, their category, and the world they’re operating in. That clarity becomes the foundation for everything that follows.

Ultimately, my work enabled Salazar to fully own that role: a studio that empowers its clients to lead with clarity and bold, intentional creative thinking.

The result was a flexible messaging system — a clear framework, language toolkit, and set of pillars — giving the Salazar team confidence in how they show up now and room to grow without outgrowing their words.
